the day has finally come. finished my last final for school. any 6 month pregnant mama can understand my super excitement!! i literally woke up this morning a different person. (even though i had a dream about my final project last night….i had to participate in the health and wellness program that i designed. weird).

we shall have to go out and celebrate…but in the meantime i whipped up a homemade pumpkin spice latte this morning. first one of the season :) it’s not a fun color like good ole starbucks but it’s still fab! and here’s a few pics i wanted to share of around the house lately. makes me smile.

squirrel! molly has found a new friend. sits there all day. and every now and then chases it. ha

you can’t tell much, but molly just got through burying her dog bone i gave her. her poor lil white nose was brown.

this lil fella has made that hole twice as big now. sigh. i am definitely enjoying this cooler weather!! i am one happy mama.

busy but fun weekend! parents came into town. celebrated mom’s birthday…although the place she wanted to go out to eat at was closed so she wasn’t to thrilled about that. sorry mom! she did join me in watching grey’s anatomy and private practice! husband did watch grey’s with us…he secretly loves it. for sure.

then we went baby furniture shopping!! it was harder than i thought. seems like the style and color that we want is not in style because there were few selections. wasn’t so successful but got good ideas. and MAN can those cribs cost a fortune. ridiculous. came home to watch the sadness of a game…UT football. but it’s okay, i still sported my new maternity shirt my mom gave me! next week shall be an interesting game as well. hook em!

church was fun. good worship. good kid’s church. and one of my highlights of the day….fried okra!!! went out to lunch and randomly asked the server if they had it, even though it wasn’t on the menu, and they did. definitely made my day. and the meal put me in a food coma. slept for about 5 hours afterward. haha. gotta love sundays. :)

this week has flown by!! right now i’m enjoying a HUGE cup of hot tea. since i still can’t get back in the coffee mode (sad day), i have turned to drinking my mom’s hot tea. loves it. i feel very english when i drink it ;) reminds me of my internship days over there. went on a nice little walk with molly girl this morning. felt amazing.

had a great weekend too! had a date night with husband. went to din and saw a crappy movie. lol but still enjoyed our time together. saturday was fun… minus the 8 hours of school work i did. (less than two weeks!!! praise the Lord) oh and minus the fact that i missed a wedding we were meaning to go to :( i’ll make it up to her! but we did get to catch up with old and new friends for dinner and late night ice cream run!

church was nice. i’ve been slacking on my kid’s church lessons lately. need to step it up. :) took a 3 hour nap after lunch=amazing. then had dinner with some girlfriends AND one of the best parts….came home to an uber clean house and furniture rearranged by husband. super nice surprise! :) what did you do this weekend???
