i have been a little busy with family stuff lately. great to see my family but under sad circumstances. we love you and miss you pops! but we all know he’s in a much better place and with the love of his life too. :)

i want:
* a haircut (it’s been since february….ha)
* to get enough sleep
* this morning sickness to go away
* to buy lots of baby things :)
* to love coffee again…oh how i miss the need for it (decaf of course)
* a personal chef that will make allll my meals and millions of snacks
* to hang out with husband even more
* to make lots of things that are on my list!
* to hang out with family & friends more

….but then i got to realize that i don’t need all of these things and i don’t want to be selfish. i need to realize the important things in life that i need to want. i am so very blessed for what i have and can be totally content with what i have :) praise God. He has done lots of things in our lives and i have no idea where i’d be without Him.

today is thursday…which means almost friday! eeeek! we’re going camping with the youth tomorrow too! get excited for no sleep…lol have a great day everyone! and be blessed for what you have!!!

ps. husband got an ipad for work and it is sooo addicting. good investment though. :)

ps….i will admit that i bought some groceries (including a pint of cookies and cream ice cream) on the way home from workout. i will not admit that i ate the entire pint in one sitting when i got home. do i feel guilty? no. :) baby CLEARLY needed it. hopefully will shoucair does not read this. ;)

on wednesday we went to have my 12 week prenatal visit. this was the second ultra sound and it was amazing! i thought my first one of a tiny blob was a miracle, but after seeing this one….it looked like a real baby! ha. God is amazing. baby was moving around like crazy! dr said it was happy…pretty sure it was because i literally just had lunch. :) i can’t wait to actually feel the baby moving.

this week has been a little crazy and busy so haven’t hung out with husband that much so we’re making it a date night tonight. i’m feeling an ice cream date. that sounds amazing right now.

still have a lot to do with the house. need to make a little field trip (more like a long field trip) to ikea and get some cute (affordable) storage bins. i LOVE organizing! can’t wait to start my craft room. it might be the last thing i do….sigh. can’t wait to get back in the groove!

so i said i would start the weekly pics at week 12….so it’s about that time. get excited!! ps…my sister in law gave me some maternity clothes! i am super excited about that. i want to wear them now…but not quite ready.

ps. i had this huge craving for chicken tortilla soup at mcalister’s deli for abut 2 weeks now…and i am glad to say i FINALLY got it. it was about an hour drive but it was well worth it. i want it again too. it was so momentous i made husband take a pic of me. haha

so today was one of those days. we all have them. i’m just glad it’s almost over. tonight will be a little rough with my usual routine of waiting til the last minute to turn everything in for school tonight. :) at the end of my 8th week out of 10. CANNOT WAIT! then only one more term and i am free. then no more school for me. i think i have had my fill. :) i need my time to get physically and mentally prepared for this baby. had a little break down today…but that’s ok. i blame it on the hormones. :) i did learn a valuable and hopefully not expensive lesson today. so i suppose that’s good. ha

trying to keep cool in this ridiculously hot, HOT weather. i don’t even want to step outside. i sweat from walking to my car to the front door. sad. the sun is almost done setting and it’s still 90 degrees. i forgot about texas summers. well enough complaining…just had to get it out there. husband can only take so much. lol. jk. he takes it all…lovingly.

anyways….another HUGE and fun announcement! since we’re expanding our little family, we thought we should expand our little apartment. soooo through a long (and somewhat painful) wait…we are proud 1st time home owners!!!!!!!! it was definitely a God thing for sure, but couldn’t have done it without both sides of our family helping and supporting us through it all, and of course all our friends’ encouragement and prayers. it is pretty amazing.

we got to visit the house for the first time as owners last night. we just laid on the living room floor trying to soak it all in. it was surreal. we are so thankful and blessed. and knowing our baby will have a room is exciting!

now the fun part begins….packing! (well the unpacking in the new place is more fun) but packing party starts this weekend!! definitely no where near ready. ha. i love my friends who are going to help. :)

PLUS..instead of taking up half of our bedroom, i have my own separate room just for my craft stuff! i know husband is really happy about that. :) (pretty sure mine will not look like that one…isn’t is gorgeous though!) also….have to give a huuuuge shout out to husband. he went way out of his way to make sure this happened and i know he sacrificed a lot with his work schedule. he is pretty amazing and i can’t thank him enough for his hard work and dedication to our family.**pics of the house coming soon!

happy saturday!!! husband and i got to sleep in this morning. it was magical. haven’t done that in awhile. then it was all work and no play for a bit. the place was a mess and we needed some groceries so off to run errands and husband helped clean the place. so sweet. :) he even made us some awesome breakfast tacos for lunch!

today is friday. amazing. this has been a long week. an interesting one too. things are changing and i’m feeling all sorts of new feelings. and it’s only the beginning. haha. still getting used to getting up at least 3 times in the middle of the night to the bathroom. i know our place so well i can do it with my eyes closed and not having to turn any lights on. sometimes i run into molly though. oops.

speaking of babies….my dear friend autumn had her baby boy, Legend Royal, yesterday!!!!! congrats mama! can’t wait to meet him!
