found out i was featured today over at Little Miss Momma! for my knitted headbands! she featured tons of really cute headbands with her headband week. super exciting. now i feel like i should wear one of them today. :)

i realized my want list is piling up…hmmm

i want:
* a haircut (it’s been since february….ha)
* to get enough sleep
* this morning sickness to go away
* to buy lots of baby things :)
* to love coffee again…oh how i miss the need for it (decaf of course)
* a personal chef that will make allll my meals and millions of snacks
* to hang out with husband even more
* to make lots of things that are on my list!
* to hang out with family & friends more

….but then i got to realize that i don’t need all of these things and i don’t want to be selfish. i need to realize the important things in life that i need to want. i am so very blessed for what i have and can be totally content with what i have :) praise God. He has done lots of things in our lives and i have no idea where i’d be without Him.

today is thursday…which means almost friday! eeeek! we’re going camping with the youth tomorrow too! get excited for no sleep…lol have a great day everyone! and be blessed for what you have!!!

ps. husband got an ipad for work and it is sooo addicting. good investment though. :)

new! home sweet home

hello lovely readers. i know my posts have dwindled down a bit lately but hopefully in a few more weeks (when i reach my 2nd trimester) i will regain all my energy back and feel amazing. apparently that happens…so i’ve heard. i sure hope so! i miss being crafty! i have all these ideas in my head but no energy to do them. :)

anyways….another HUGE and fun announcement! since we’re expanding our little family, we thought we should expand our little apartment. soooo through a long (and somewhat painful) wait…we are proud 1st time home owners!!!!!!!! it was definitely a God thing for sure, but couldn’t have done it without both sides of our family helping and supporting us through it all, and of course all our friends’ encouragement and prayers. it is pretty amazing.

we got to visit the house for the first time as owners last night. we just laid on the living room floor trying to soak it all in. it was surreal. we are so thankful and blessed. and knowing our baby will have a room is exciting!

now the fun part begins….packing! (well the unpacking in the new place is more fun) but packing party starts this weekend!! definitely no where near ready. ha. i love my friends who are going to help. :)

PLUS..instead of taking up half of our bedroom, i have my own separate room just for my craft stuff! i know husband is really happy about that. :) (pretty sure mine will not look like that one…isn’t is gorgeous though!) also….have to give a huuuuge shout out to husband. he went way out of his way to make sure this happened and i know he sacrificed a lot with his work schedule. he is pretty amazing and i can’t thank him enough for his hard work and dedication to our family.**pics of the house coming soon!

so i just wanted to share with the crafty blogging world why i have been so out of it lately and not on here as much as i’d like……i’m preggers!!! :) sooooooo excited and blessed. i have been waiting for this moment for a long time! i really believe one of my life’s purposes is to be a mom. so…check! :)

7 weeks along. officially saw a little flutter of a heartbeat this morning. there were some tears. so special. due january 21st! so get ready readers….i’m super excited about doing weekly updates! i won’t go baby crazy on here….might be making lots of baby things though. clearly. :) oh and i’d love any suggestions or even baby blogs or anything. this is super new for us. first time! :) hope all is well. this is a very exciting day. AND so excited that we are telling people now! it was so hard holding it in until we saw the heartbeat. but yay!!!! have a great weekend everyone!

eeeek! super exciting. already 100! i wanted to do something fun like a giveaway but i haven’t had too much time this week. hmmm maybe next week! :) i just want to thank everyone who has been a part of this blog. my friends and family and of course my readers and other bloggers who inspire me!!! i couldn’t have done it without y’all!!! my goal is to really get involved in my blog even more and maybe even start an etsy shop !!! i won’t be able to do the shop until i finish with school…which isn’t too far away!!

today was an errand day. but i made a couple of fun things in between. gotta be a little girlie each day. ;)

on another note i want to give a shout out to husband and his hard work of cleaning out the balcony closet that i have been wanting to help with for sooo long. :)

but i did find these awesome socks!!! haha. love. them.

and a fun oregon hat! great for lazy hair days!

why did the turtle cross the road…

my husband secretly loves animals just as much as i do!!! he proved it by saving a turtle the other day. :) we were driving (in a hurry because we were late) on a major street and all of a sudden he busts a u-turn, parks on the side of the road, jumps out of the car, runs across 4 lanes of speeding cars to get this poor, poor turtle from the middle of the street who was scared to death. my hero. :)

hehe. i secretly wanted to keep him. hope he stays away from the street! have a fabulous day!!! it’s gorgeous outside.i’ll be back with two little projects i have been working on.

there are a thousand pictures i would post but that’s a lot. lol. married life is a blessing and i thank God everyday for my soulmate. here’s to many, many more years!!! he’s the love of my life and my biggest fan. he encourages me and supports me through everything and i adore him. i want to say thank you to all my friends and family who made that day and my life amazing!! even my blog readers!! i can’t make it without your support! :)

lots of coffee

rainy days call for extra coffee…..and extra coffee we did drink. got a little jittery there for a second. haha

started off my day with one of my good friends at good ole starbucks. brought in my mug for some free coffee!!! makes coffee taste even better. after spending 2.5 hours there…we joined the men for some bbq. delish.

then clearly we got more coffee and went house hunting!!! ahhhh. first time ever!! oh i am so excited. our lease ends this month (clearly we aren’t leaving by then…but it’ll be soon by God’s will). met our realtors….they are amazing. old friends of husbands so that makes it even better. i’ll be sure to let you know the details when they come!!! hope everyone had a great day!

ooooh and happy news!!!! my sister is going to have another baby!!!!! oh how i love babies and all my nieces and nephew!! praise God!
